Slimmer's Salad

This low calorie delicious slimmer's salad provides a good combination of vitamins and minerals and one can look forward for glucose control and weight reduction.

Preparation Time: 10 mins    Makes 8 servings 


To Be Mixed For The Curd Dressing

1 1/2 cups hung low fat curds

1 tbsp chopped onions

1/2 tsp chopped green chillies

1 tsp mustard powder

1 tsp sugar

salt to taste

Other Ingredients

4  apples

1 fresh pear


1 orange

1 medium sized capsicum

4 carrot

few fresh leaves of mint

1/2 cucumber

a few raisins


  • Chop the fruits coarsely.
  • Grate the vegetables.
  • Mix in a bowl and put to chill.
  • If you like, add the curd dressing.
  • Serve cold.
